Building Cultural Connections in Our Community
There are many physical things that go into building a community – bricks, steel, roads, houses, infrastructure… and there are the many non-physical things that make up the spirit of a community – trust, passion, honesty, generosity, collaboration, pride and respect.
The arts play a major part in contributing to the community in a physical way that in turn feeds and strengthens the spirit and social pride within a community. There are many great community leaders and businesses that do the same to contribute to the growth of Tamworth and our region.
We are thrilled to welcome Single Builders as our 2018 Season Partner and we believe there are great parallels in the service and community contribution we both make. Single Builders’ support of the arts will mean we can continue to deliver a diverse and creative mix of events to our city. We are delighted to see them take this prestigious position as the overarching partner and to join with us to build cultural connections within our community.
We are also pleased to welcome back Jump Up Trampoline Zone as our 2018 Education and Families Partner.

There are two great ways to get involved: Subscribe, which is great for those who like the same seats as well as planning ahead, and Membership which is great for those who might like the benefits of subscribing but the flexibility throughout the year. Read more about Subscriptions and Memberships.
Capitol Theatre Tamworth sits within the Entertainment Venues Division of the Tamworth Regional Council, along with Tamworth Town Hall and Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre (TRECC).
and it is my priviledge to be at the helm. Supported by a small fantastic team, we aim to deliver a consistent level of service across these three wonderful assets.
These three venues reinforce how important and how valued the performing arts and live entertainment are to the Tamworth region and the cultural fabric of the community. Your continued support of these wonderful facilities and your ambassadorship with spreading the word on how exciting live theatre can be, will see us placed as an integral part of the community.
We are thrilled to offer a season that both supports the wonderful work of Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music, Tamworth Dramatic Society, Tamworth Musical Society, Tamworth City Dance Academy, the 2340 Big Band, Ballet Stars, and the Tamworth RSL Brass Band as well as bringing a range of respected artists and companies including Opera Australia, Circus OZ, Belvoir, Catherine McClements, James Valentine, Melinda Schneider, Melbourne City Ballet, CDP Kids, Monkey Baa, Stalker Theatre, Hit Productions, Rachael Beck, Nancye Hayes and Todd McKenney.
